A Minnesota school district has banned pastors from attending Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings.
Pequot Lakes Public Schools says non-school adults may not attend FCA meetings on a regular basis. They also said all clubs must be student-led and all meetings must be led by students.
No ministers allowed.
The new rule was issued after the Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a formal complaint – accusing a local youth pastor of proselytizing at the middle school FCA meetings.
