A dodge minivan that was destroyed in a fire in a Philadelphia neighborhood Tuesday morning has been identified as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicle, according to Citizen Alerts, a community-wide emergency notification app.
A 911 caller reported the incident at 506 S Front Street in Philly at 8:38 a.m. Police blocked off the streets near the blaze, as it intensified.
“If you could notify a supervisor about this vehicle fire, it’s actually a government vehicle—a Homeland Security ICE vehicle,” a police dispatcher can be heard saying in a recording posted on Citizen alerts.
American Greatness reached out to ICE for an update on the fire and did not immediately receive a reply.
